SENSIBLE STAGING. POWERFUl results.

Live art DESERVES as few barriers to production as possible.

From our renowned 50% discount for non-profit and small business clients, free seminars to train business owners, artists, and teachers on the use of performance technology, and partnerships with local educational institutions, we believe in the power of Tucson’s arts community.

WHAT WE DO

We pride ourselves on being a one-stop-shop for all things live arts. Whether your small business needs a PA, stage, and chairs for a launch event, your art installation needs a networked pixel tape map, or your non-profit theatre company requires lighting and sound design, we’ve got you covered.

As our client, you can choose one of our services below or any combination as a package deal. We believe so strongly in our model of centralizing services that we discount any package deal. Hire us for stage management? We’ll share our software licenses free of charge and discount the computers to run them on.

That’s not to suggest we don’t partner with independent vendors and artists. It takes a village to produce anything. See below for more details on how we support Tucson vendors and artists who partner with us.

  • Building on 14 years of expertise managing live events in Tucson and New York, we offer production planning and management services for any scale and manner of live event. We specialize in theatrical productions and custom art installations.

    Services include:

    • Stage Management: Producing reports, managing rehearsals, running performances, overseeing crew staff.

    • Vendor and Artist Coordination: Partnering with local and regional companies and artists for specialized production needs.

    • Scheduling and Communication: Creating a detailed event timeline and coordinating event details, taking the stress out of managing dozens of moving parts.

    • Budget Management: Making no-fuss, informed decisions about where money moves.

  • Award-winning* audio, lighting, projection, and graphic design are all sourced internally, reducing the cost and red tape significantly for our clients. We believe our unique solution of linking all design elements together under one brain is the number one reason partnering with us reduces the inherent stress of live event planning.

Still, a production should never be designed alone. We proudly partner with independent regional artists, designers, and vendors for medium- and large-scale projects.

  • It takes a village to produce live events. Most of the time, this requires hiring part-time contractors who know a thing or two about the industry. For most of our work, we prioritize hiring in-house artists and stagehands whose work we trust. We actually encourage you to partner with them directly if you have no need of the package services or equipment we provide. In this way we avoid gatekeeping the industry and the livelihoods of the gig workers who power it.

Still, we find that clients who require wider production expertise, or who have struggled to secure consistent and high-performing production teams, trust the process we provide.

Staffing services begin at $100 per diem for journeymen and end at $200 for associate designers and workers.

  • Because it doesn't always make sense for businesses and artists to own their own equipment, many staging companies and vendors front the cost of owning production equipment and rent it to recover the cost. We are no exception.

However, the industry standard rate for rental is to make back the cost of the equipment no sooner than two years of rental. We believe in transparency in equipment cost: if we cannot provide the required equipment for an event, we will either ensure that any vendor we partner with meets this standard, or we will seek to source the item ourselves. We include the purchase price of all equipment in all equipment rental requests, so the client can make an informed decision. We prioritize earning our clients' trust through smart, good-faith business practice.

Current equipment stock available to our clients includes both physical equipment and software licenses. Our physical equipment includes Macbook Air laptops, speakers and mixing boards, power and signal cords, lighting instruments, and microphones. Our software licenses include Ableton Live 12 Standard, Vectorworks Educational, QLab Standard, and Isadora 3. Independent artists who contract with us have full use of our software free of charge.

A full list of equipment is coming soon. If you are interested in sharing or selling equipment, please contact us below.
